Visine eye drops adopts ‘new look’ with innovation design by Seymourpowell
The well known eye drop brand, Visine, by Johnson & Johnson is sold in most pharmaceutical markets across Europe and Africa. Johnson & Johnson Consumer Europe wanted to modernise and clarify the packaging of its Visine brand. In addition to this, the pharmaceutical company wanted to take the opportunity to reduce overall manufacturing costs by making the packs trilingual.
This was a challenging task for the leading innovation and design company, Seymourpowell, as some of the original branding qualities had to remain the same, whilst also increasing the number of languages on the package design. However, the design team managed to create a distinct brand aesthetic and feel that was consistent across the range. Colour coding, the large Visine eye imagery and clear pack navigation ensures the pack feels consumer friendly whilst maintaining its medical credentials.
Lenka Vychytova, Franchise Manager for Visine added, “Seymourpowell created a strong and modern brand look and feel that communicates successfully the brand equity and the varied product platforms.”
